The 5 Elements of Speed

12 500,00 USDPris

This is the largest art piece, consisting of five separate canvases and six large SR-71 fragments. There is a lot of work and detail that remains hidden. The back side of three of the canvases feature "Easter Eggs".

"These pieces were excavated on 12/23/25 by my Mother and I. We drove two hours into the Nevada desert to a nearly 60 year old crash site of her favorite aircraft that we had no idea was there. SR-71 Serial #61-7965 experienced a system critical anomaly with the Astroinertial Navigation System (Retroactively named the R2-D2 System) and was sent into an unrecoverable vertical dive in the middle of the night on October 25th 1967. Both crew ejected safely.

This work features one Golden heat-colored fragment of titanium skin that retains the still classified black stealth paint. The second titanium fragment features four titanium rivets still holding fast and joining two pieces together. The third and largest fragment features a thick titanium bracket with a “swasti-screw” still embedded in it. The large silver composite fragment was a section of the numbers on the vertical tail. This piece still features the composite honeycomb core structure on the back side. The wire strip has two multi-stranded conductor wires, one red, one black, together covered with a braided shield which is then covered in teflon and white shielding."
